I labored for three days, in fact. Started very slowly on the evening of the 20th, and finished up with a bang the afternoon of the 23rd. Yes, I was ready to bludgeon innocent bystanders to death by then, and yes, he is an only child. :) But I wouldn't give him back for anything in this world. He's mine.
